ONE West Cumbrian seaside town found their own little slice of fame last weekend, when a well-known band descended to film their latest music video.
Last month, Fontaines DC were spotted in Maryport, with reports that the lead singer was spotted outside of Grasslot Chippy in a set of angel wings.
It is understood that the band were using someone's home in Maryport, with reports suggesting the video would be out in a month or two.
Some residents said that the band were seen filming all around Maryport over the weekend, so it remains to be seen what locations could feature on the video.
Fontaines DC are an Irish post-punk band formed in Dublin in 2014. The band consists of Grian Chatten (vocals), Carlos O'Connell (guitar), Conor Curley (guitar), Conor Deegan III (bass), and Tom Coll (drums).
