CUMBRIA Police have dealt with a group of youths who were playing on a train track in Carlisle.
Officers explain that live train tracks can be busy and dangerous and have urged parents to warn their children of the risks.
A spokesperson said: "Do you know where your children are? This evening officers attended an incident where youths had been seen playing on the railway tracks.
"The railway tracks were live and part of a very busy line. The dangers of being next to or on a live track include electrocution and loss of life.
"Please speak to your children regarding the dangers of this, especially if you live close to a railway line."
