CUMBRIA Police have received reports of an increased use of off-road bikes at a nature reserve.
Officers are aiming the tackle the use of the bikes at the old ironworks site in Millom.
Members of the public have now been warned by law enforcement to not use off-road bikes illegally at this location.
A spokesperson said: "Local offices have been made aware of the increased use of off-road bikes on the old Millom Ironworks site.
"This site is a local nature reserve home to around 20 bird species and 17 butterfly species along with shrubs and flowers.
"This is to be enjoyed by the community. This is not to be destroyed. Officers will be out and will deal with anyone caught."
