A NEW community 'show and tell' event will be held at Botcherby Community Centre, following a successful gathering at Currock House.
The event, run by Carlisle Matters, looks to offer a free fun-filled day out for families through games, music, and activities, whilst also signposting them to useful information available within the community.
Stephen Dunn, who has been helping spearhead the project, said: "'Show and Tell' is a new community engagement model.
"The 'show' is bringing activities, entertainment, and amusement to attract the public (which is free), and the 'tell' is advice, signposting, and information.
"I love the idea that we can start to take programmes that can really embed in the community and get to the heart of the issues," he said.
The event will be held at Botcherby Community Centre on April 20, from 1pm to 4pm.
The event will be a prelude to a much larger event in Bitts Park on May 19.
The project is seeking further businesses to get involved.
