A commentator well-known in the cycling world is coming to Carlisle for a talk.
Carlton Kirby, the voice of cycling, will share tall tales and frank opinions from his 25 years in the commentary box on the eve of the 2024 Tour de France.
A description of the event, which will happen at The Old Fire Station on June 5, reads: "In a funny and revealing evening for all cycling fans, Carlton will reflect on his front-row experiences at the Tour and other big races plus the hard lessons he’s learned from life on the road, as a bon viveur in budget hotels across Europe."
Tickets cost £15 and can be bought from The Old Fire Station's website - ofscarlisle.co.uk.
