THE A66 has reopened following a 'serious' crash involving two vehicles last night.
The incident, reported at around 6.45pm (April 13), necessitated a full closure in both directions from the A6 at Penrith to the A685 at Brough.
According to National Highways, the road reopened at around 12.20am (April 14).
