A 38-year-old man has died following a two-vehicle crash in Cumbria.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the fatal crash which occurred on the A66 near Brough.
Police were called at 4:58pm on Saturday with a report of a two-vehicle collision involving a grey Honda Civic and a silver Vauxhall Astra.
The driver of the Vauxhall Astra, a man from the Nottinghamshire area, died at the scene.
The A66 was closed between the A6 at Penrith and the A685 at Brough for several hours.
The road reopened at around midnight (April 14).
