PART of the A689 is closed following a crash involving a lorry.
Emergency services are currently dealing with the one-vehicle crash near Junction 44 in Carlisle.
The A689 is currently closed between Linstock/Brampton roundabout and Junction 44.
A spokesperson from Cumbria Police said: "The road is expected to be closed for some time while recovery takes place.
"Motorists are asked to avoid the area."
The incident was reported at 4.45pm (April, 22).
