THREE people were arrested in Carlisle following reports of theft.
The incident was reported to have taken place in Lockerbie, Scotland.
Police Scotland traced the vehicle to Carlisle where officers apprehended a vehicle and arrests were made.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 3.15pm on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 we received a report of theft from a business on Goods Station Road in Lockerbie.
"The vehicle, which was found to have been involved in other thefts reported in Lockerbie and Dumfries, was traced to Carlisle.
"A 37-year-old man and two women, aged 40 and 43, were arrested and charged in connection with the incidents.
"They are due to appear at Dumfries Sheriff Court on Wednesday, April 24, 2024. A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal."
