A PERFORMANCE of Shakespeare's shortest play will be performed at Muncaster Castle this summer.
The Three Inch Fools will be at the castle in July performing The Comedy of Errors, as an outdoor theatre show.
The Fools team will perform the play on Wednesday, July 17, and it is described as 'Shakespeare's shortest - and wildest - comedy.'
A spokesperson said: "The clock is ticking, as the Fools rush to untangle one almighty mess in this farcical tale of long-lost twins, hysterical misunderstandings, and endless mishaps.
"With musical instruments in hand, we present a joyous take on this Shakespearean rib-tickler.
"Bring your own blankets, cushions, and camping chairs, and join us on our outdoor adventure on Muncaster Castle’s front lawn.
"Come prepared for the weather - the performance will continue come rain or shine.
"The Three Inch Fools is an innovative touring theatre company acclaimed for its fast-paced and musically driven approach to theatre.
"They have built a reputation for staging bold and vibrant open-air productions at some of the UK’s most spectacular historic and natural landmarks."
Tickets are available on Muncaster Castle's website.
