WEST Cumbria Rivers Trust will be hosting events at Longlands Lake next month.
These will take place on the May bank holiday weekend and will aim to encourage an interest in wildlife and nature.
On Saturday, May 4, there will be a foraging event and on Sunday, May 5, the Dawn Chorus event will be held.
A spokesperson said about the Spring Forage and Nibble day: "Discover the 4 Fs' of foraging - fungi, fruit, flowers, and foliage and taste the amazing ingredients found in nature."
This event will run from 10am until 1pm.
They also explained the Dawn Chorus event, they said: "Bird experts, Brian Ward and Chris Mayson are back for another tuneful walk around Longlands, sharing their knowledge and expertise along the way."
The Dawn Chorus event will begin at 6am.
