Gretna 2008 are looking for a new manager after Bryan Gilfillan announced he is set to step down.
The boss's decision follows the club's survival in the Lowland League.
Gretna's 2-1 win over Edinburgh University last weekend helped the club retain their status.
But soon afterwards it was confirmed Gilfillan would be moving on.
The club's head of footballing operations, Nikki White, said in a statement: "His work ethic throughout the season has been nothing short of incredible.
"We’ve worked really closely over the last few months and had great laughs even in the dark days.
"I wish him all the best in the future whatever he decides to do.
"I hope he takes a well earned break with his family and I’ve informed him there will always be a role within the club for him should he wish."
The club added: "We as a club will now take time to take stock and decide the best way for the club to continue to make strides forward."
Gilfillan's long connection with football in Gretna has included playing spells at Gretna 2008, while he also played for the former Gretna club during their rise up the Scottish Football League.
He was appointed manager last summer after the departure of Michael McIndoe.
Goals from Dean Brotherston and Connor Austin earned the Anvils a crucial 2-1 win over Edinburgh University last Saturday.
It was later announced that Gretna would be remaining in the Lowland League for the 2024/25 campaign.
