THE Lake District is arguably one of the most beautiful areas in the country.
With its stunning scenery of towering mountains and crystal clear lakes, it's no wonder that it attracts millions of people each year to Cumbria.
Whilst many people may come for a day trip or choose to stay in a hotel, others like to fully immerse themselves in their surroundings, becoming one with nature.
There has to be no better way to do this than camping, a popular and affordable holiday option that only seems to be growing in popularity with an increasing interest in 'staycations.'
Here at Newsquest, we wanted to give you a helping hand if you're thinking of heading into the Lakes as summer approaches.
We've paid a visit to campsites.co.uk provides listings of the best-rated campsites in the North Lakes.
