A pub has paid tribute to one of its longest-serving workers.
The Pooley Bridge Inn said goodbye to barmaid Honeigh Wells.
A spokesperson from the inn said: “Honeigh joined us way back at the beginning of Country Village Inns and worked at our sister pub The Wheatsheaf Ingleton.
“In 2020 she joined and since then has served thousands of customers and was one of the quickest and best bartenders we have ever seen.”
They added, addressing Ms Wells: “The bar will miss you as we will too.
“Thank you for your care, your time, your hard work, and your passion. Here’s to you and your new chapter.
“Take care, don’t be a stranger, and relax, you deserve it.
“Time to put them feet up now; though it will feel alien to begin with, we are sure you will enjoy having a well-earned rest.”
