A main road in North Cumbria will continue to see works throughout summer.
Dalston Road will be closed for several months this year.
From Saturday, June 8, to Monday, September 9, it will be closed from the bottom of Brow Nelson to the top of Brow Nelson (from the junction with Peter Lane to Lingyclose Road), with no access to Dalston.
Dalston Road has consistently seen temporary traffic lights and is currently under a temporary speed limit of 30mph for a significant section to and from Dalston.
