A special event to celebrate the 80th anniversary of D-Day will take place at a retirement home in Penrith.
Churchill Retirement Living is inviting locals, especially armed service veterans, to Dutton Lodge.
It will take place on May 24 between 2 and 4pm.
Attendees will remember this monumental Second World War event with free refreshments and shared memories.
Dutton Lodge, popular among over 60s, offers a comfortable atmosphere for independent retirement living.
Churchill’s area sales manager Lisa Obertelli said: "We’d love to welcome anyone with interesting memories to share, it’s a time to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms we all enjoy today."
The lodge features one and two bedroom apartments, a 24-hour emergency Careline service and much more.
