The train line between Barrow and Workington has reopened after the electric supply failed near Sellafield. 

Services are returning to normal but some services may still be cancelled or delayed according to Northern.

Barrow to Carlisle services were only running between Barrow and Millom only and Carlisle to Barrow services were only running between Carlisle and Whitehaven only.

Northern said: "Following failure of the electricity supply between Barrow-In-Furness and Workington the line has now reopened.

"Services running through these stations are returning to normal but some services may still be cancelled or delayed."
