A FREEMASONS lodge in West Cumbria has donated items to a food bank.
A Cumbria Freemasons lodge decided to offer support to a food bank in Cockermouth by donating food items.
A spokesperson said: "It was highlighted this week that the North Lakes Food Bank at Cockermouth was in urgent need of items to help the community.
"So, at our annual Provincial Grand Chapter meeting yesterday, at The Garden at Eden, our 2nd grand principal, Ken Archer made an appeal asking members to support this amazing cause and bring items along to help the food bank, and we had over 150 items to donate.
"Many thanks to the members who donated as these items were extremely well received.
"Ken proudly delivered the items today to Craig and Jenni at the food bank."
