A fencing company is offering £1,000 to anyone who has information which will lead to the return of stolen equipment.
Graeme Howe Fencing Ltd, based in Carlisle, had a digger and dumper stolen over the weekend.
A spokesperson from the company said it happened on May 18, and the stolen equipment was described as a Takeuchi TB210R micro digger, and a Messersi TC95d tracked dumper.
They said the equipment was stolen from the Etterby area at 9.45am, the thieves going up the bypass, then south towards the M6, adding that the tracker was either blocked or removed from the machines at 12.32pm in Gisburn, Lancashire.
“If anyone on Gleneagles Drive or Kingmoor Road has any footage from CCTV or Ring doorbells between 9.45am and 10am showing the vehicles being loaded and or driven away a copy of the footage would be massively appreciated.
“If you are offered either machine or know anything please let us or the police know, any information which leads to the return of the machines will be rewarded with £1000.”
A spokesperson from Cumbria Constabulary said: “Police received a report on May 19 of the theft of a digger and dumper, taken from the area of Sunningdale Close and Gleneagles Drive, Carlisle.
“The equipment had Graeme Howe written on it.
“Investigations are continuing.
“Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to contact PC 2827 Cropley on 101.”
