A CUMBERLAND drinking establishment has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.
Brewers Fayre - Lakeland Gate, a pub at Premier Inn, Walkmill Crescent, Carlisle was given the score after assessment on April 20, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.
For the hygienic handling of food including preparation, cooking, re-heating, cooling, and storage it was found to be Very Good.
The cleanliness and condition of the facilities and building were found to be Generally Satisfactory.
The management of food safety was found to be Very Good.
It means that of Cumberland's 321 pubs, bars, and nightclubs with ratings, 251 (78%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
