A FESTIVAL of Work is set to take place at Lakes College.
The event will occur on Thursday, July 11, between 2.30pm and 5.30pm and has been sponsored by: Balfour Beatty, Sellafield Ltd, Morgan Sindall Infrastructure, Morgan Sindall Construction, CITB, and Cavendish Nuclear.
The aim is to support people's career development and perhaps get them into their first job.
In a post on social media, the Lakes College team said: "Are you looking to progress or change your career, start your first job, or just explore new opportunities?
"Come along to the Festival of Work, hosted by All Together Cumbria at Lakes College, to find out about local employment opportunities in construction, engineering, and nuclear and receive advice on the best career pathway for you.
"We'll have more than 60 employers on campus showcasing their vacancies.
"Whether you are looking to start, change, or progress your career across the construction, engineering, and nuclear sectors, the Festival of Work will showcase local employment opportunities along with advice and support on the pathways available to help you succeed."
