Simon Cowell said: "I am unbelievably proud of all of you. I was saying to Bruno and Ant and Dec with an audience, you can't fake a reaction, when something is good you know it, and that was just powerful, it was joyous.

"And let me tell you something, what you do is so much better than sitting in your bedroom playing stupid video games. This was a big big step up from your audition and every one of you, like i said, should be really really feeling proud of yourselves.."

The groups when asked by Ant and Dec explained what went into the dance, they said: "Blood, sweat, tears to be honest. It sounds cliché, but this isn't something you see everyday, we are people from all over the shop, everywhere, and this is something we love, we love this, we want you to know that."

The group, which includes members from all over the UK, was jumping for joy after dance legend Bruno Tonioli hit the golden buzzer so hard that he smashed it in their first performance which gave them a straight ticket to the semi finals.

After his first performance in the auditions with the group, Archie said: "It was such a surreal moment even being on the stage.

"A moment I had always dreamed of but never thought would happen.

"I was confused, happy and shocked that Bruno pressed the golden buzzer for us. It was the best feeling in the world.

"I never thought it would happen to us. Bruno understands it’s not always easy being a male dancer, but he gets it…he gets us and we are so excited for the next round."
