AN animal charity's new store has been officially opened by Brampton's town crier.
Oak Trees Animals' Charity's new charity store was opened on Wednesday, May 29, and was heralded by the market town's town crier Brian Pease in his traditional blue robes.
The opening of the store also coincided with Brampton's popular market day.
After the store's opening, Oak Tree Animals' Charity's chief executive officer Caroline Johnson was on hand to express her delight.
She said: "We are delighted to be opening our new charity shop in Brampton and thank the whole community for their very warm welcome to our Charity.
"We would also like to say a huge thank you to everyone who visits and donates items to our shops, it is truly appreciated and makes a difference to animal welfare in our community."
Caroline also explained how the new store will support the charity by raising 'valuable funds' for its 'vital work'.
She said: "Our charity shops not only enable us to raise valuable funds for our vital work helping animals and their owners throughout our region but also allow us to provide easier access and information about our services and support to those who need our help."
