Phil Wilson, GSK ZSC Site Director says "GSK Zinnat Supply Chain are once again delighted to be the associate partner of the Pride of Cumbria Awards 2024. These awards recognise the extraordinary achievements of people within our community, and we are immensely privileged to extend our support to the Pride of Cumbria once again this year.
"GSK has been within the South Lakes community for over 75 years, providing life saving medicines to over 30 million patients a year and we have had the fortunate opportunity to support events such like the Pride of Cumbria, which enable us to give thanks to the fantastic people who go the extra mile in making our lives and the lives of our families and friends easier, better or safer.
"Often these unsung heroes go unnoticed, however the Pride of Cumbria allows us to nominate people and hear about the fantastic work or acts of kindness that are happening each day. A truly wonderful event, that shows people's willingness and desire to participate in activities that promote a community.
"Not only do the awards highlight the outstanding contributions and acts of kindness happening around us each day, but it also provides a platform for unsung heroes making an impact in Cumbria to receive the recognition they deserve.
"We are immensely privileged to extend our support to the Pride of Cumbria once again this year, as we sponsor and award the well-deserved recipients with the 'Young Person of the Year' award. Cumbria is home to exceptional individuals under the age of 16, and we are always thrilled to hear their inspiring stories and say thank you."
