IT'S one of the most popular supermarkets in the UK - and you'll never find yourself far away from a Tesco in Cumberland.
The national chain has stores across the area, with stores in most of the major towns.
Whether you're popping in for a pint of milk or doing a full-on weekly shop, it's good to know what the food hygiene rating of the Tesco near you is.
We've broken down every food hygiene score across the region to see if the chain lives up to its high reputation.
When it comes to food hygiene ratings, five is at the top of the scale, where standards are very good. Zero is at the bottom, where urgent improvement is necessary.
Each business is given a rating after an inspection by the Food Standards Agency with requirements, on how to improve hygiene, if required.
Here is a list of their most recent ratings - all scores were correct at the time of publication.
