DISCOVER Lakeland will be running history walks in Carlisle throughout the summer.
The Historic Carlisle Guided Tours will take place every Thursday and Sunday until September 28.
Discover Carlisle wrote on social media: "Carlisle is a city rich in 2000 years of history. Join this fascinating two-and-a-half-hour guided walk to reveal Carlisle’s heritage from Roman times.
"Wander along ancient streets, uncover the city’s hidden secrets, admire the medieval Guildhall, and discover the historic significance of the Cathedral and St Cuthbert’s Church."
Tickets can be booked through the Carlisle Tourist Information Centre or online.
