A fresh scheme to monitor wind farm expansion in the Scottish Borders has been formed.
Borders Wind Farm Watch aims to provide easy-to-access information and insights, as well as highlight issues such as landscape and visual impact, turbine size, energy needs, noise pollution and community benefit.
Scottish Borders Council data suggests there are currently 23 significant schemes in operation, two in construction, and another 17 in the planning stages.
Borders Wind Farm Watch has been established by residents, community groups, and businesses in the Scottish Borders.
A spokesman for the group said: "We want to encourage a more constructive conversation regarding wind energy policy and future development, and help people find the most effective way to express their views."
