The Crown and Mitre hotel in the city centre is set to be the host of a major fashion campaign shoot.
Award-winning designer, Ross Griffiths is set to shoot his spring and summer ’24 collection at the iconic city centre hotel.
Ross, who is from Chorley in Lancashire, is the founder of Kingfisher Couture and is the stylist to Eastenders icon, Anita.
A spokesperson for Kingfisher Couture said that the shoot would be a ‘huge moment’ for the city.

“Professional London award winning celebrity stylists, models and industry pros are going to be in Carlisle on June 22,” said the spokesperson.
“This is a huge moment for the community of Carlisle to catch a glimpse behind the glitz and glamour of the fashion industry as Ross aims to inspire the next generation showing anything is possible.”
“After only three years in the industry, Ross's journey continues to inspire all. A true testament to resilience and creativity.”
