CARLISLE'S first fly-in event since the airport reopened post-Covid has been postponed due to "operational reasons".
The festivities this weekend, on June 8 and 9, were set to welcome an array of diverse aircraft types.
A spokesperson confirmed the event will go ahead at a later date.
In a post on social media, a spokesperson said: "Regretfully, for operational reasons a difficult decision has been made to postpone our 6-24 fly-in scheduled to take place this coming weekend Saturday and Sunday, June 9.
"We plan to hold the event in the future.
"In the meantime, the airport remains open 7 days a week, and we continue to look forward to welcoming both existing and new visitors to our superb facilities," they said.
