A pair of serial charity fundraisers have raised over £2,000 for Children's Cancer North.

Jane Foster, who is originally from Brampton has been fundraising for charities for almost 40 years alongside her mum June Means

Throughout their years of fundraising, Jane and June raised thousands of pounds for local charities with various events with her latest schemes involving crafts and baking.

The duo's fundraising history also traces back decades, including eight years of raising money for the Cumberland Infirmary after they took care of Jane's late grandad.

Jane and June's latest fundraiser saw them raise £2,106 for Children's Cancer North through a charity craft fair and the pair were also assisted in their efforts by Warwick Bridge's Sally's Tea Room.

After the fundraiser, Jane and June thanked everyone who supported their fundraising.

They said: "Thank you to everyone who helped us and supported us."
