Cumberland Council have confirmed that a road closure scheduled to start on Saturday, June 8, has been delayed.
The planned closure of Dalston Road for the new roundabout construction has been postponed by one week. The closure will be between Peter Lane and Brow Nelson House and will now start on Monday 17 June.
A fully signposted diversion route will be in place via Peter Lane, the A595, and Barras Brow.
All businesses will remain open as usual and can be accessed via the diversion.
Cumberland Council wrote: "Thank you for your patience and understanding."
