Tribute has been paid to a former director at the British Deaf Association (BDA) HQ in Carlisle.
Bob Peckford was of advocacy services at the BDA and his passing has been described as ‘very sad news’ by former colleague, Peter Shaw.
“It was with great sadness that I learned that Bob passed away a few days ago,” said Peter in a British sign language message posted on a BDA social media page.
“I wanted to let you know about the arrangements for Bob’s funeral.
“It will take place on Monday, June 10 at 1pm at Carlisle Crematorium.
“If you are planning to drive, make sure you use the main entrance on Dalston Road, which is the quickest way into the crematorium. It’s very sad news.”
