THE KING of wishful thinking is headed to Carlisle's Old Fire Station.

Peter Cox, vocalist and frontman of Go West, will be headed to the venue on September 28.

The duo won the ‘Best New Artist’ Brit Award in 1986.

Their debut album included four top 20 singles and remained in the UK charts for over a year.

"Get ready to sing your heart out when Peter comes to Carlisle with his full band, bringing you a night of chart-toppers like "We Close Our Eyes," "Call Me," and "Goodbye Girl," plus anthems like "Don't Look Down" and "Faithful,"  the listing reads.

"He'll also be showcasing his red-hot new tracks, "Too Far Gone" and "She Wants Magic," both of which soared to #1 on The Heritage Chart! Don't miss this unforgettable show.".

Tickets are on sale now via the Old Fire Station website.
