A ROAD has reopened near Carlisle following an incident.
Local authorities announced that there had been an 'ongoing incident' on the A689.
In a post on social media, Cumbria Police wrote: "The A689 between Carlisle Airport and Brampton has been reopened.
"Thank you for your patience."
