A SPECIAL Bluey and Bingo Character event will occur at Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway later this month.
The much-loved children's characters will be visiting the Cumbrian tourist attraction for the first time.
The 'sisters' feature in the Australian animated television series and have become a huge hit with children worldwide.
Bluey and Bingo will be paying a visit to La’al Ratty on Saturday 29 and June 30, with personal appearances at set intervals on both days at Ravenglass Railway Museum.
A Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway spokesperson said: "It will be an action-packed weekend and special daily event tickets will include a return train journey between Ravenglass and Dalegarth stations on scheduled services, along with an allocated time slot to see Bluey and Bingo at Ravenglass Railway Museum.
"That’s in addition to an opportunity for ticket-holders to ride on one of the Museum’s engines along the headshunt at Ravenglass station.
"Children will also receive a goody bag and ‘I met Bluey and Bingo’ Sticker and balloon at the 'meet and greet' session, as well as a complimentary pass to visit the railway again in July or August, access to the outdoor play areas at Ravenglass and Dalegarth stations and a 10% voucher off the ‘Teddy Mountain Build a Bear’ in October.
"The Bluey and Bingo Character event is part of a family-friendly lineup of activities at the railway to keep the kids occupied all year round."
Tickets for the event can be booked through the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway website.
