Around 3,000 participants tackled one of the muddiest courses in the Gelt Gladiator's history last weekend.
Returning for its ninth year, the Telford Automobiles Gelt Gladiator took place on June 8 and 9, offering a mucky experience for all involved.
Set in the fields near Brampton, the event provided runners with the opportunity to overcome challenging obstacles, including fire pits and slip and slides, in the name of sport, fun, and team building.
Of over 3,000 entrants, around 1,500 were youngsters.
Organiser Mike James said: "What a weekend. Well done to everyone who completed the gruelling course. Even we have never seen mud like it.
"Huge thank you to all the event team, marshals, course build, admin, land owners, Telfords, and all associate sponsors.
"In fact, thank you everyone," he said.
In an exciting announcement, next year's Gelt Gladiator will mark the 10-year anniversary of this popular event.
Scheduled for June 21 and 22, 2025, the anniversary edition promises to be the biggest and best yet.
Early bird entries are now open, offering the cheapest rates for those who sign up before June 30th.
'Thousands and thousands' of pictures from the day are available to view online.
