A VEHICLE has been seized for being driven without a license and insurance.
The driver is due to appear in court in due course.
In a post on social media, Cumbria Police wrote: "CCNET officers PC 2165 and PC 1837 have been at it again. Another Section 165 RTA vehicle seizure for driving otherwise in accordance with their license and no insurance in Whitehaven today.
This time the female driver admitted she didn't have a license, telling us she failed her test last week but chanced it anyway for work, not an excuse, unfortunately.
"The vehicle was seized and the female driver reported for both offences for court in due course."
