Police are investigating a burglary in the Eden Gate Story Home estate, Houghton.
Three black fly fishing rods, about 6ft long, were taken from a garage, plus the black tubes they were stored in, on either Wednesday 5 June between 9 am and 1 pm, or on Thursday, June 6, between 7.20am and 11am.
The victim's grandchildren's two small rods were also stolen.
Officers would like to speak to any potential witnesses to this incident.
