Carlisle Trades Union Council (CTUC) will be holding a protest against the continuing war in Gaza, in Carlisle City Centre on Saturday, June 15.

The protest will take place between 12 pm and 1 pm next to the entrance to The Lanes Shopping Centre near Primark.

Members of the CTUC have regularly been attending the weekly vigils organised by the local branch of the Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC) alongside their own protests.

The CTUC have called for the immediate resumption of a ceasefire that is lasting, the urgent provision of humanitarian relief, including food, water, fuel and medicines to the inhabitants of Gaza and the release of all hostages and of all Palestinians detained since October 7.
