A potter inspired by beekeeping will exhibit her work later this year at a historic venue.

Cazz Nash, who creates from Carlisle, has been announced as one of this year’s invited exhibitors at Dacre Hall, Lanercost, by Craftsmen at the Priory, from July 31 to August 27, 10am to 5pm.

Cazz wrote of her exhibition: “As a potter, I predominantly work with porcelain through slip casting and stoneware clays for hand-building, deeply inspired by my beekeeping avocation.

“Each piece in my collection is a maximalist expression of beauty, blending lots of techniques for each piece; under glazing, resist, screen printing, bubble glazing, textured papers, decal transfers, mark-making, and 24 karat gold lustre.

“It is my sincerest wish that the joy I find in the alchemy of creation resonates with you through my ceramics.

“Delve into my world, where every piece is not just an object but a storyteller and a keeper of my soul’s narrative".
