FOUR talented students from one of Carlisle's top dance schools have secured places at prestigious performing arts colleges. 

Razzamataz students Dylan Rhodes, Ella Ashurst, Rosie Hogg and Savannah Stacey have shone during their time at the Carlisle performing arts school and have earned spots at some of the best colleges across the country.

Dylan has secured a place at Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance, Ella at the Addict Dance Academy, Rosie Hogg will study at Shockout Arts and Savannah Stacey will attend The Scottish Institute of Theatre.

The four have been loyal Razzamataz students for the past 13 years and have also attended additional classes such as Razz Project Intense and Razz Act.

A Razzamataz spokesperson said: "The success these young people have seen is a testament to their sheer dedication and hard work throughout their time at Razzamataz and also the comprehensive training provided by the school."

Student Dylan Rhodes said: “I have been attending Razzamataz Carlisle for the past 10 years and I have absolutely loved every minute of it.

"Being part of the Razz family has been such a huge part of my life - I cannot imagine not being involved in the future in some shape or form; my teachers and principal Debbie are a huge support and inspiration to me and I am going to miss them immensely."

Ella Ashurst added: “Razzamataz has opened up so many opportunities for me and so many doors that otherwise would have been closed.

"The classes at Razzamataz Carlisle have developed my confidence and pushed me to believe in myself and my abilities. I pushed through the audition season with the amazing team that have supported me ever since I was young and gained a place at a phenomenal school."

Razzamataz concluded: "We can’t wait to see our students thrive as they start their professional training and look forward to following their journeys."

Razzamataz Carlisle offers part-time training in dance, drama and singing together with opportunities to perform. Classes are for children from age two to 18 and allow students to experience a range of performance styles.
