NORTHERN Rail has announced there will be 'significant disruption' to services.
This will affect parts of the North West on Sunday, June 16.
Train users have been warned that there will be 'significant disruptions' and 'short notice cancellations.'
In a post on social media, Northern wrote: "Significant disruption and short notice cancellations in the North West on Sunday, June 16, 2024.
"Customers, please be advised that Services on routes in and around the North West will be subject to significant disruption and short notice cancellations this coming Sunday.
"Please check journey planners in advance and travel only if absolutely necessary."
