RESIDENTS are being warned to expect temporary disruption at a number of recycling sites across the Copeland area.
Cumberland council have informed residents that there may be disruption across a number of sites in towns such as Cleator Moor, Gosforth, Millom and Seascale after Go Plant Fleet services have entered administration.
In a statement on social media, Cumberland council said: "We're informing residents of a temporary disruption at nine recycling bring sites in Copeland due to ‘Go Plant Fleet Services’ entering administration.
"We're working to find a replacement vehicle and expect to resume service in a couple of weeks.
"Please don’t leave items on the ground if skips are full. Please use local Household Waste Recycling Centres or regular kerbside collection services instead.
"We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your cooperation."
The affected sites are as follows:
• Cleator Moor Co-op
• Distington car park
• Gosforth car park
• Haverigg Foreshore
• Millom Tesco
• Seascale Foreshore
• St Bees Foreshore
• Whitehaven Morrisons
• Whitehaven Tesco
