A new private gym is set to open in the village of Hackthorpe near Penrith.
Proper Performance is the brainchild of business partners Callum Keen and Beth Walker, who have recently relocated to Cumbria from York.
The state-of-the-art facility will officially open its doors on June 24.
The duo envision Proper Performance as not just a gym, but a community hub.
Ms Walker said: "Our mission is to piece together our interests, abilities, and passions into an all-encompassing service for those who want to invest in their performance and longevity."
Proper Performance will provide a range of group classes including Fell Strong for runners/hikers, Longevity Training for increased strength, and Calisthenics for the more adventurous exercise enthusiasts.
Alongside these, Mr Keen, a former world record holder and MSc qualified specialist, will offer personalised private training sessions for individual members.
With over 10 years of experience in human performance under his belt, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to this new fitness endeavour.
The gym is a reflection of their core values – honesty, enthusiasm, and compassion, welcoming both seasoned athletes as well as fitness beginners.
For more information, potential members can visit www.proper-performance.co.uk or stop by the Hackthorpe facility from the scheduled June 24 opening day.
