GENERAL election candidates for Whitehaven and Workington will answer questions from the public at a hustings event to be held this week.
It will be hosted by Churches Together in Workington & District and is being held at St Michael’s Church, Falcon Place.
Josh MacAlister (Labour), Andrew Johnson (Conservative), Chris Wills (Liberal Democrat), Jill Perry (Green Party) and David Surtees (Reform UK) will all be represented.
The hustings are an opportunity for people to speak to the candidates about issues that matter to them. Questions will be submitted in writing on arrival.
The event will be held on Thursday, June 20, at 7pm.
