CUMBRIA'S raffle king has been enjoying the Euro's in Germany as he tours the country supporting England during the competition.

Ryan Dodgson from Workington, who owns Northern Competitions based in the town, has joined other supporters from Cumbria as England are set to take on Denmark in the second group game of the Euro's tonight, June 20.

This is the second game Ryan has attended, having been in the ground when England played Serbia in their first match of the competition.

Ryan has tickets for all three group games says he will try to get tickets from the last 16 onwards depending on how far we get through, with no flight home booked until the final.

Speaking about being at the tournament, Ryan said: "The experience has been unreal so far it's like a dream come true, there's a huge buzz around the country with English fans turning up in the thousands each game.

"It's like a dream come true, I'm so grateful for the opportunity, none of this would of been possible without Northern Competitions & I've got all my 87k followers to thank for this. Thank you! SMELL THE EUROS."

After originally travelling to the tournament alone, Ryan has met up with fellow Cumbrians Ryan Mellor, Karl Dodd and Barry Platts who have travelled to the tournament from Carlisle, with the Cumbrians said to be 'currently having the time of their lives' in Germany.

Ryan said: "It's great meeting other supporters especially the Carlisle lads Karl, Ryan and Barry we get on like a house on fire, really good lads and dye hard England and Carlisle fans".

The group are all eagerly anticipating tonight's game in Frankfurt, with the atmosphere at the tournament said to have created a buzz around the city.

Speaking about tonight's game, Ryan said: "I'll be at the game tonight, the atmosphere seems a lot better than the Serbia game, I think the Serbia game was surrounded by a lot of bad press and everyone expected both fans to clash, but the the buzz around the Denmark game seems a lot better,

"I've been out all night with the Carlisle lads drinking and mixing with both English and Danish fans and didn't see or hear of any trouble."
