Thrash metal band Xentrix will play Carlisle in November as part of their UK tour.

The band, formed in 1985 by guitar player, Chris Astley, is set to celebrate their 35th anniversary with a tour across the UK.

Xentrix, renowned within the British Thrash movement, will play their debut album 'Shattered Existence' in its entirety.

The album, produced by John Cuniberti, was initially released under Roadrunner Records.

In the band's early stages, a stand-out moment involved recording a thrash cover of the 'Ghostbusters' theme tune for BBC Radio 1’s Friday Rock Show, helmed by the legendary Tommy Vance.

The version was already a hit with fans at their live shows.

Now, Mr. Astley and his band are marking their landmark anniversary with a tour, including a performance set for The Brickyard, Carlisle on November 6.
