A comedy actor known for appearing on Benidorm will headline a gig later this year.
Crissy Rock, who portrayed Janey York in the long-running summer holiday sitcom Benidorm, and debuted in Ken Loache’s 1994 film Ladybird Ladybird, is hitting the road with a brand new show of two halves, visiting the Old Fire Station in Carlisle on November 6.
While she is perhaps best known for her acting work, she is also known to her fans as a stellar stand-up comedian and an author.
The first half, called ‘How Did Christine Murray Become Crissy Rock?’, is described as a one-woman play with funny anecdotes that will make you laugh, cry, and fall in love.
The second half is her stand-up comedy show, which promises to have you ‘rolling in the aisles with laughter’.
