OFFICERS in the Neighbourhood Policing Team have arrested a 16-year-old for a burglary and attempted burglaries.
PC Hannah from the Neighbourhood Policing Team led the investigation into a burglary and 3 attempted burglaries on Scotch Street, Carlisle between April 28 and May 1.
As a result of a recent press release, a 16 year old male has been arrested and interviewed for all 4 offences. The male has been released on Police bail pending a disposal decision.
Carlisle Police said: "The CCTV image which we released attracted a lot of comments questioning the quality however it was sufficient for members of the public to contact us resulting in his identification."
