KESWICK Mountain Rescue were called out after a woman dislocated her shoulder in an infinity pool in the Lake District.
On June 21 at 11.46am, Keswick Mountain Rescue were called out to attend to a woman who had injured herself.
Whilst lowering herself into the infinity pool in Fisherplace Gill, the 50-year-old woman dislocated her shoulder. Her partner managed to help her out of the water and to the side before calling 999 to request Mountain Rescue.
On arrival, Keswick team medics treated the casualty, and provided strong pain relief before stretching her down the steep slopes back to the road from where the couple made their own way to hospital for further treatment.
12 team members were involved in the rescue which took 2 hours and 29 minutes.
